Andrea Hewitt, Associate
Andrea has a comprehensive understanding of the property market which started whilst living and working in London. She moved from Cornwall to North London in her early twenties. Shortly after moving to London Andrea began working for one of London’s top estate agents in St John’s Wood. Seven years later she had successfully climbed the internal career ladder and was effectively gaining instructions for the company across a broad area in North West London.
Life then took Andrea on a very unique path travelling the world on tour for two years, with her now husband, a former member of a well-known rock band.
Upon returning to the UK she joined another high end London estate agent, wanting to utilise her expansive knowledge of the property market. Upon starting her family Andrea moved to Surrey, a county she now possesses extreme local knowledge of and has an excellent professional network.
Andrea conducts searches for clients seeking their new home in the county she enjoys living in herself. It is her time living in Surrey, her wealth of contacts and her plentiful knowledge of the property industry that enables her to do this and obtain first class results.
Leonia Newman, Director & Co-Founder
Leonia offers a wealth of experience spanning many years in the national and international relocation sectors. She is respected as a relocation professional for providing a first class service to clients.
In her early career Leonia set up her own relocation company helping London families to move to the Home Counties. She began to appreciate the needs of busy clients; not only finding the right property, but also the accompanying lifestyle, formed by schooling, the commute, and local amenities.
Through her extensive network of business contacts Leonia next headed up a niche relocation consultants for film actors. Out of this intriguing challenge she became an industry expert discussing property matters for Real Estate TV.
Building on this success, Leonia founded a relocation company serving high profile corporate clients buying and renting in prime central London. She helped over 500 executives, working for the world’s most prominent and successful corporations, to find homes in the capital.
After many years of relocating families from all corners of the globe, Leonia was ideally placed to join forces with Garrington Relocation to develop our industry-leading brand.
Emma Atkinson – Director
Looking for a new challenge, Emma joined Garrington Relocation in January 2015. Her extensive knowledge of the relocation industry and global network well place Emma to assist in the facilitation of national and global contracts.
Emma graduated with a 2:1 in Law and holds a qualifying LLB Bachelor of Laws Honours degree, specialising in Commercial Contracts alongside both International and European Law.
Having worked in relocation for more than 5 years, Emma has a keen eye for strategy and commercial awareness, delivering compliant and process driven service methodologies to many global clients during her career.
Her focussed approach to service excellence has developed and implemented a full supply chain methodology, ensuring the most robust controls are in place to manage a vast global supply chain.
Emma’s passion for compliance extends to the EuRA Quality Seal Accreditation, where in 2013, Emma secured the first EuRA Global Quality Seal with no non-compliances.
Having internationally relocated herself, Emma understands the concerns, frustrations, pressures and stress a relocation can create. Her detailed knowledge, coupled with first-hand experience and understanding, well equips her to assist in the development of products and services tailored to meet the needs of both our clients and their transferees.
Deborah Spice – Relocation Advisor
Deborah has been working within the relocation sector for over 4 years. Having extensive knowledge of the industry and tasks involved in a relocation, Deborah shares the experience of relocation with assignees through the role of Relocation Advisor at Garrington Relocation. Having moved families, couples and single employees internationally, Deborah also guides and supports clients with their every need until they are settled in their new home.
Prior to her time in relocation, Deborah has worked in the manufacturing and service sectors, either managing or leading a team. Prior to this, after leaving education, Deborah travelled for a number of years around the middle-east, Europe and Africa gaining useful life skills and enjoying the wonders of the world.
Married with three children, hobbies are sometimes difficult to squeeze in. However, Deborah’s spare time is taken up by belonging to a choir who host concerts to raise money for local charities.
Yvette SooKool – Relocation Advisor
Yvette joined Garrington Relocation in 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience in managing and growing corporate accounts.
Yvette has previously successfully managed a RMC account, implementing new processes for streamlined delivery and compliance, leading to a 50% uplift in case management over the course of the contract.
Well respected within the Relocation Industry, she prides herself on excellent customer services, attention to detail and reciprocated respect from all she does business with.
Yvette is ARLA trained, and able to delivery all aspects of relocation, from Homesearch services and tenancy management to education assistance and departure services, minimising the number of touchpoints for any assignee.
Lynne West, Operations Manager
Throughout her career Lynne has worked mainly in the areas of Office Management, Event Management and Customer Service. In this time she gained experience being a PA at board level, organising trade shows and heading up a customer service team.
After nearly 20 years working mainly in the Telecommunications industry, Lynne decided that it was time for a new challenge. In 2009 the opportunity arose to join the Garrington team in a key role as an Operations Manager. With a wealth of administrative experience coupled with extensive customer service skills, Lynne ensures that the operational side of Garrington runs smoothly and efficiently. As an important linchpin of the organisation, Lynne’s support to the management team and network of associates is invaluable.
When not at work, Lynne enjoys spending time with her family and is an active committee member of her son’s football and cricket clubs.
